Em 1985 foi começado Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, vulgo TSPA ou Skapara, por Asa-Chang.

Famosa no cenário japônes e internacional, a banda, que conta com mais de dez integrantes do underground nipônico, tem um som inovador que mistura ska, reggae e jazz.

A maior referência do ska, o Skatalites, inclusive, os convidou para uma turnê pelos EUA, complementando com a frase : "Para eles, estaremos sempre disponíveis."

Skapara já contribiu para vários outros artistas, como Shiina Ringo, Yusuke Chiba, Takao Tajima, Tamio Okuda e a dupla Puffy Amy Yummy, com o qual tem um clipe que pode ser visto na Cartoon Network brasileiro.
